  5. !!! programmieren, falls ein Intel-Flash-EPROM bestⁿckt ist.  !!!
  6. !!! Ziehen Sie den AWARD-Bios-Aufklebere ab; falls ein "i"    !!!
  7. !!! aufgedruckt ist, dann ist es ein Intel-Typ.               !!!
  8. !!! Ein Programmierversuch mit Intel-Flash-EPROM fⁿhrt dazu,  !!!
  9. !!! dass der Rechner nicht mehr startet.                      !!!
  10. In diesem Fall ist ein Update mit der 541xxx10.BIN m÷glich.

  16. !!! Do not update bios, if EPROM is manufactured by Intel. !!!
  17. You can recognize the typ of flash eprom by removing
  18. the AWARD-label from the eprom. If it's an intel typ,
  19. then it is signed with "i". In this case the boot block
  20. is write-protected.
  21. In this case update bios not higher than version 541xxx10.BIN!
  22.  
  23. Execute flash-programming without any memory manager. Disable for example
  24. the EMM386.EXE in CONFIG.SYS. Disable any password settings in
  25. Bios-Setup!

  27. Start program by entering:    AFLH52B <Bios-Filename>
  28.  
  29. The <Bios-Filename> depends on the I/O-Chip (U39) of the onboard-controller.

  37. We suggest to update to version 541WXB13 (X:N,S,U) in all cases.
